TOM TURNER
INSTRUCTOR
Tom is an experienced photojournalist, photographic artist, and passionate educator. He holds a Masters of Fine Arts in Photography specializing in landscape and conceptual abstractions. His work has exhibited across the globe, from Bulgaria to Marfa, Texas. Before moving to Alaska, Tom taught in Universities across Texas and is currently teaching at Mirror Lake Middle School. Tom's work has been shown in numerous publications, including Wired.com, Juxtapoz Art and Culture Magazine, the London Times Magazine, and the Boston Globe.

CAROL TURNER
INSTRUCTOR
Carol has worked for San Antonio Zoo, one of the largest conservation organizations in the United States, focusing on public events and conservation education. She holds a Master's in Fine Arts, specializing in atelier painting, drawing, and communicating visual content through design. Carol has taught in universities, exclusive camps, conservation programs, museums, and public schools. Her artwork has exhibited across the United States from Alaska to Savannah, Georgia. She currently teaches at Chugiak Elementary in the Anchorage School District.
